A "Katie Moment"
If you knew Katie, you know what
a kind, caring and giving person she was. If you didn’t, we hope
that after today, you do. One thing Katie taught all of us… How
important it is to give to others. In her short life, she did so
much, feared so little, and gave so often to others. Our lives are
so much richer from knowing and loving her. As a lasting tribute to
Katie, we are asking each of you to have a “Katie Moment” within the
next year.
A “Katie
Moment” is a selfless act. It is not for personal gain, praise or
acknowledgement, but a pure giving moment to another. Remember the
movie Pay it Forward? The little boy does a pure selfless act for
another and then asks that person to pay his kind act forward to
another – This is our “Katie Moment.”
Help us to
pay it forward for Katie as we celebrate her life today. If you are
